European Heritage Days: a success for Vaudoise Assurances
During the European Heritage Days, the headquarters of Vaudoise Assurances, nicknamed the Cedar, attracted more than 500 visitors to Lausanne on September 12 and 13. This exceptional opening allowed the public to discover this iconic building of modern Swiss architecture, usually reserved for employees.
Classified as a building of national interest, the building, designed by Jean Tschumi, combines architecture, design and functionality. A major renovation, carried out between 2024 and 2025, modernized the Cèdre while respecting its heritage identity.
The guided tours highlighted the architectural and artistic ensemble of Le Cèdre, reflecting the public's attachment to this heritage. This initiative demonstrates the Vaudoise's commitment to sharing this heritage with a wide audience.
