Aircraft Incident Involving Evergold Corp. Personnel Near Prince George
On August 21, 2026, Evergold Corp. reported an emergency incident involving an aircraft carrying members of its exploration team near Prince George, British Columbia. The incident occurred on August 20, when the aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on Foothills Boulevard, colliding with several vehicles. Tragically, one person in a vehicle succumbed to injuries afterward.
Evergold expressed condolences to the bereaved family and confirmed that its team members traveling from the Golden Lion Project are safe and uninjured. Other onboard passengers from various mineral exploration companies, along with the pilot, also remained unharmed.
The aircraft, operated by Sekani Air Ltd., faced this emergency while carrying personnel on a scheduled break. Evergold reiterated its commitment to safety and offered to support affected crew and their families.
