Evergreen Transition: A worrying financial situation
On April 21, 2026, Transition Evergreen, a company listed on Euronext Paris, published its IFRS financial statements for the year 2025. The balance sheet presents worrying results, with a net loss of €25.5 million and a net asset value of -€32.2 million. Audit reports indicate uncertainty regarding the company's ability to continue as a going concern.
The financial results were marked by a significant charge due to the unfavorable change in the fair value of investments, notably Everwood and TE Holding Biogas. Current liabilities increased to €60.3 million. A continuation plan is being structured, but its adoption remains uncertain due to legal and economic constraints.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on June 26, 2026. Transition Evergreen has also terminated its liquidity contract with Kepler Cheuvreux to reduce its operating costs.
