EVN and STRABAG Finalize Sale of WTE

EVN AG and STRABAG have completed the sale of WTE Wassertechnik GmbH, as announced on March 3, 2026. This significant transaction includes WTE’s European and Middle Eastern business operations. The deal, initially agreed upon in December 2024, reached its conclusion following the fulfillment of all conditions and receipt of requisite third-party approvals.

The purchase price for this acquisition stands at EUR 100 million. This transaction aligns with EVN's Strategy 2030 by allowing the company to concentrate on its core business areas. The signing of the transaction documents occurred in June 2025, marking a major step in the divestment process. EVN aims to streamline its operations while focusing on strategic priorities.
