Evotec Appoints Dr. Joanna Holbrook as Chief Scientific Officer

Evotec SE, a leading life science company, has announced the appointment of Dr. Joanna Holbrook as its new Chief Scientific Officer and a member of the Management Board, effective November 1, 2026. Dr. Holbrook brings over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Her appointment aims to enhance Evotec's scientific strategy, focusing on discovery and development services, technology platforms, and innovative approaches.

With expertise in multi-modal 'omics, data science, and precision medicine, Dr. Holbrook is well-positioned to advance the company's capabilities. She joins Evotec from Novo Nordisk, where she served as Therapy Area Head for Cardiovascular, Renal, and Hepatic Diseases. Her previous roles also include positions at Biomodal, BenevolentAI, and GSK.
