Exail Technologies receives a new order for its DriX O-16 drone
Exail Technologies has announced a new order for its DriX O-16 transoceanic surface drone from OMS Group. This order follows an initial purchase in 2025. The drone will be used for missions related to submarine cables, such as cable laying, bathymetric surveys, and monitoring of telecommunications infrastructure.
The DriX O-16 offers 30 days of autonomy and a range of 3,500 nautical miles. Remotely controlled from Singapore, the vessel represents an energy-efficient alternative to traditional ships. This autonomous solution promotes a significant reduction in carbon footprint, up to 99%, and optimizes costs.
