Exasol AG Adjusts Fiscal Year 2026 Outlook

Exasol AG has revised its financial guidance for the fiscal year 2026. The company now anticipates its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) to fluctuate between -2% and +2% compared to 2025. Initially, a growth in the mid-single-digit percentage was expected. Additionally, revenue is projected to decline in the upper-single-digit percentage range, a more significant drop than the previously forecasted mid-single-digit decline. The company estimates EBITDA to be between EUR 3.0 million and EUR 3.5 million, narrowing from the prior range of EUR 3.0 million to EUR 4.0 million.

This adjustment is largely due to reduced expansion momentum among existing customers. Factors include increased hardware costs and a challenging macroeconomic environment. Moreover, delays in the integration of a joint solution with a strategic partner have slowed progress. Despite a focus on data sovereignty and agentic AI boosting new customer acquisition, it could not compensate for the decelerated expansion of existing customer relationships.
