Executive Board Changes at Schaeffler AG
On April 1, 2026, Dr. Jochen Schröder will become Schaeffler AG's Chief Operating Officer and a board member, succeeding Andreas Schick who leaves by choice on March 31. This transition was confirmed by the Supervisory Board. Dr. Schröder, an E-Mobility division founder at Schaeffler since 2018, has been Regional CEO Europe since 2024. Schaeffler's Supervisory Board is considering merging the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer roles for efficiency.
Rémy Triouleyre will replace Dr. Schröder as Regional CEO Europe. Dr. Xiangbin Chen will become Regional CEO Greater China in January 2027, succeeding the retiring Dr. Yilin Zhang. These changes are part of Schaeffler's strategy to enhance board efficiency and navigate future challenges.
