Photonis Defense secures a key order for the US Army

Photonis Defense, a subsidiary of Exosens, has received an order for 1,600 binocular night vision systems as part of the US Army's BiNOD program. This order marks the start of initial low-rate production, with deliveries scheduled between late 2026 and 2027. This initiative is part of the $352.6 million contract announced in March 2026, reinforcing Exosens' presence in the United States.

The BiNODs, developed and tested by Photonis Defense, will be manufactured in the United States, incorporating high-performance image intensifier tubes. This order underscores Exosens' development strategy in the American market and its commitment to the US Army.
