Exosens Secures €140 Million EIB Financing to Advance Defense Innovation
Exosens, a high-tech company specializing in critical amplification and imaging technologies, has secured a €140 million financing facility from the European Investment Bank (EIB). This funding will support Exosens' research, development, and innovation efforts in night vision and imaging technologies for European defense, surveillance, and industrial markets.
The financing aligns with the EIB's priorities on innovation and industrial sovereignty, backed by the InvestEU programme. Exosens aims to boost its dual-use photonics technologies, enhancing modern warfare and homeland security capabilities, through investments in its Brive-la-Gaillarde facility and other locations.
The funding is a long-term instrument, offering favorable terms that enhance Exosens' financial flexibility, supporting growth and technological capabilities. Jérôme Cerisier, CEO of Exosens, highlighted the financing as recognition of their strategic role in Europe's industrial ecosystem.
