Exotic Food Achieves ISO 14068-1:2023 Certification
Exotic Food Public Company Limited has become the first food company in Thailand to receive the ISO 14068-1:2023 certification, marking a significant step toward its carbon neutrality goals by 2040 and net zero emissions by 2050. The Thai food exporter, known for the Flying Goose Sriracha sauce, aims to lead in environmental standards amid increasing global demands.
The certification is part of an effort to lower carbon operations, aligned with the company's long-term targets. CEO Vasana Jantarach emphasizes the importance of a recognized framework to measure and manage emissions. To comply with ISO standards, Exotic Food reviewed its greenhouse gas emissions, strengthened its emissions management system, and enhanced personnel training.
Exotic Food is implementing several emission-reduction measures, including solar power installations and transitioning logistics to electric vehicles. The company continues to invest in technologies and efficiency improvements as part of its ESG strategy for a sustainable supply chain.
