FDE carries out its first asset sale to streamline its portfolio
On October 26, 2026, the French energy company FDE announced the sale of its 56.04% stake in Elgane Vind AS, a Norwegian wind energy development company. The sale was completed by its subsidiary Greenstat AS to Zephyr AS, for a sum of up to 4 million Norwegian kroner (approximately €0.34 million).
This sale is part of a program to refocus FDE on its core businesses, particularly mine gas and biogas. The transaction will allow the company to refine its capital allocation and strengthen its cash position, while retaining a potential economic interest in the future development of the project. According to Antoine Forcinal, CEO of FDE, the focus is on cash-generating assets.
