FireFox Gold Discovers High-Grade Gold Zone at Sarvi Project
FireFox Gold Corp announced a significant high-grade gold intercept at its Sarvi project in Lapland, Finland. Drill hole 25SA003 revealed a 1.75-meter interval averaging 27.48 g/t gold, including 0.8 meters at 53.50 g/t, at a depth of 73.4 meters. This marks the first high-grade gold interval reported from the site.
FireFox's exploration targeted structural features associated with the Kittilä Suite volcanic rocks. The promising results are near the Ikkari deposit, raising expectations despite the region's limited outcrop. The initial two holes drilled in Keulakko showed varying gold concentrations, prompting further exploration.
The Sarvi project covers 26 km² and shares a boundary with Rupert Resources' Area 1 Project. FireFox's ongoing efforts involve extensive magnetics and base-of-till sampling to refine targeting. Additional results from both Sarvi and Mustajärvi projects are anticipated soon.
