FireFox Gold Extends Mineralization at Mustajärvi Project
FireFox Gold Corp. has released results from six additional drill holes at Mustajärvi Gold Project in Finland. The drilling success has expanded the Northeast and East gold zones by identifying new mineralization between them, as stated by the company on August 5, 2026. Highlights include hole 26MJ007 with 2.9 meters at 11.55 g/t gold, and hole 26MJ006 revealing 5.9 meters at 5.09 g/t gold. Drilling activities are ongoing with two rigs on site. The company notably surpassed its drilling plans, with further results from 19 drill holes pending.
Recent findings allow for the tracing of mineralization into the Gap Zone. This could potentially open new drilling opportunities, though current permits restrict extensive drilling in this area. CEO Carl Löfberg emphasized the growth in the zones and anticipates productive drilling in late summer and fall 2026. The Mustajärvi Project is strategically located between the cities of Kittilä and Sodankylä, encompassing over 25,000 meters of drilling to date.
