First Phosphate Announces Reports on Bégin-Lamarche Project

First Phosphate Corp. has released two academic research reports on the characterization of the Bégin-Lamarche phosphate deposits in Quebec. The studies, conducted by Queen's University and the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, focus on the mineralogy, petrology and geochemistry of the Montagne, North and South zones of this igneous deposit. The deposit is part of the Lac-Saint-Jean Anorthositic Suite, known for its large size and 1.14 billion years of formation.

The results of this research are part of a perspective of supplying phosphate for lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries. The announcement of these studies reinforces First Phosphate's commitment to exploiting high-purity phosphate sources to meet the growing needs of the North American battery market.
