FITUR 2026 Unites Global Tourism with Massive Participation
FITUR 2026, the prominent International Tourism Fair, is set to gather over 10,000 companies from 161 countries in Madrid from January 21 to 25, 2026. This 46th edition highlights an 11% increase in international participation and features Mexico as the Partner Country. The event also welcomes 18 new nations, with significant contributions from Africa and the Asia-Pacific.
This year, FITUR introduces the Knowledge Hub, a strategic innovation center for tourism insights, featuring 200 sessions and 250 speakers. Additionally, the fair will launch the first International Summit on Communication and Tourism. With over 150,000 professionals expected, FITUR continues to boost Madrid's economy significantly.
Mexico's involvement comes as its tourism sector flourishes. The event will emphasize sustainability and accessibility, incorporating a public weekend full of activities. As the tourism industry recovers, FITUR 2026 aims to connect global tourism professionals and stimulate growth across the sector.
