Formation Metals Secures $22.4M Financing to Boost Quebec Gold Project
Formation Metals Inc. recently announced the successful closure of a $22.4 million non-brokered private placement. This funding will expand their drill program from 30,000 to 75,000 metres at the N2 Gold Project in Quebec. The project boasts a historic resource of approximately 871,000 ounces of gold and remains open for further exploration.
Deepak Varshney, CEO, emphasized the significance of this financing in advancing the N2 project. With around $31 million in working capital and no debt, Formation Metals aims to enhance exploration efforts and uncover additional value in the Abitibi greenstone belt.
Future drilling will target extensional areas of the A-zone and newly identified zones to the south. Additionally, a reassessment of base metals at the site has disclosed promising copper and zinc prospects.
