FORTEC Elektronik AG Expands into Maritime Market with Nottrot B.V. Acquisition

FORTEC Elektronik AG has acquired Nottrot B.V., a Netherlands-based manufacturer specializing in monitors for maritime, military, and industrial applications. This strategic move allows FORTEC to strengthen its foothold in Central Europe and venture into the maritime data visualization sector, enhancing its technological capabilities for future developments.

The acquisition deal is valued in the single-digit millions and is financed through existing funds. Nottrot B.V., established in 2000 in Oosterhout, reported a turnover of around EUR 3.2 million last year. The integration will bolster FORTEC’s offerings in the maritime and defense sectors.

CEO Sandra Maile highlighted the importance of this acquisition in reinforcing the company's position as a leading provider of data visualization solutions, citing its alignment with FORTEC’s strategic M&A approach.
