Française de l’Énergie: Growth in H1 2025

Française de l'Énergie (FDE) has announced a turnover of 15.5 million euros for the first half of 2025. This figure shows a significant increase in revenues in the second quarter (+45%) compared to the first. The growth is attributed to the development of new green electricity production units in Europe, particularly in Hauts-de-France, and to the recovery of gas activity, despite challenges related to the unavailability of the transmission network.
The group also saw significant contributions from its international subsidiaries. Greenstat in Norway generated €1.8 million mainly from photovoltaic power plant projects. In Bosnia, the Petjnik solar farm brought in €3.3 million.
FDE plans to continue its expansion, targeting a turnover of more than 175 million euros by 2030. The company is developing renewable natural gas production projects in Norway, with production expected to begin between 2025 and 2026, while advancing renewable hydrogen initiatives.
