Frasers Group Increases Stake in HUGO BOSS Supervisory Board
On 14 September 2026, Frasers Group plc announced an update on its investment in HUGO BOSS AG. Following the completion of a voluntary takeover offer, Frasers has entered discussions to increase its representation on the HUGO BOSS Supervisory Board. The discussions involved Stephan Sturm, the Chairman of HUGO BOSS's Supervisory Board.
Frasers and Sturm agreed on an orderly transition, with Sturm stepping down as Chairman to allow for the appointment of Michael Murray, CEO of Frasers, along with a new board member, Robert Palmer. This change aims to support HUGO BOSS as it embarks on a new chapter.
Frasers expressed gratitude to Mr. Sturm for his contributions and intends to maintain a collaborative relationship with him in the future.
