Frédéric Sanchez to the presidency of Orange
Orange's board of directors has appointed Frédéric Sanchez as its new chairman. An independent director of the company since 2020, Sanchez will succeed Jacques Aschenbroich following the annual general meeting on May 19, 2026. This appointment is based on the recommendations of the governance committee and the ad hoc committee, as Aschenbroich's term is coming to an end due to the statutory age limit.
In parallel, the board wishes to renew Jacques Aschenbroich's term as an independent director to benefit from his experience. Frédéric Sanchez, Chairman of the Fives Group since 2002, has extensive and diverse international experience. Aged 66, he is a graduate of HEC Paris, Sciences Po Paris, and Paris-Dauphine University.
