Freenet AG, headquartered in Büdelsdorf, has announced the launch of a share buyback programme amounting to EUR 75 million. With approval from its Supervisory Board, the programme is set for the 2026 and/or 2027 financial years and will be executed through stock exchange transactions.

This decision follows the authorization from the Annual General Meeting held on May 13, 2026, allowing the company to buy back up to 10% of its share capital until May 12, 2031. Currently, Freenet AG holds 2,216,964 treasury shares, which represent approximately 1.86% of its share capital.
