FUCHS Pioneers Sustainability with New Carbon Footprint Tool

FUCHS Group has unveiled a certified tool to calculate product carbon footprints (PCF), setting new standards in sustainability within the lubricants sector. Available in the EMEA region and China, this tool aids customers in emissions reporting and sustainability efforts.

The PCF tool, certified by TÜV Rheinland, provides consistent emissions data for FUCHS products, including lubricants and greases. The company has been instrumental in developing industry-standard PCF methodologies with associations like UEIL and ATIEL.

Mathieu Boulandet, FUCHS CTO, notes the importance of the tool in delivering reliable carbon footprint data for strategic decision-making. The initiative is crucial for transparency and industry progress towards sustainability.
