Future Fuels Begins Gravity Survey at Hornby Basin Project
Future Fuels Inc. has initiated the mobilization of crews and equipment for the Phase One exploration at its Hornby Basin Project in Nunavut. This step includes a comprehensive 680-station ground gravity survey at the Mountain Lake Uranium System. The survey aims to enhance the understanding of local uranium mineralization. It covers an area of approximately 2,000 hectares, with support from helicopters originating from Kugluktuk. The project builds on previous surveys in 2022 and 2024 that demonstrated the effectiveness of gravity surveys in distinguishing between geological units.
Results from the 2025 survey will underpin Future Fuels' planned 2026 drilling campaign. The survey is conducted in collaboration with Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd. and EarthEx Geophysical Solutions Inc. Environmental and community engagement efforts remain a priority, guided by a robust Environmental and Wildlife Management Plan. Community involvement is also encouraged, ensuring local participation throughout the exploration process.
