Galantas Advances Andacollo Gold Project with New Contracts

Galantas Gold Corporation has announced significant progress on its Andacollo Gold Project in Chile. The company has chosen M3 Engineering & Technology Corporation to lead the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) and oversee the relocation of a crushing plant from Mexico. This assessment, scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026, is a critical step toward potential project restart in early 2027.

The project benefits from existing infrastructure, including a heap-leach operation and an ADR plant, which reduces the capital intensity compared to building a new facility. This infrastructure is expected to support a more efficient restart process, leveraging the acquired three-stage crushing plant with a design capacity of 20,000 tonnes per day.

In addition, NCL Ingeniería y Construcción Ltda. and STRACON contribute to mine planning and cost management. Current efforts focus on infrastructure refurbishment and operational readiness, strengthened by the existing budget and financing. However, a production decision has not been finalized.
