Galway Metals Reports Significant Gold Mineralization at Clarence Stream
Galway Metals Inc. has released assay results from 14 diamond drill holes at the Southwest Deposit of the Clarence Stream Gold Project in New Brunswick, Canada. The project spans a 65-kilometer gold-rich area. The updated Mineral Resource Estimate indicates 1.42 million ounces of gold in the Indicated category and 1.29 million in the Inferred category. Recent drilling highlighted broad zones of gold, with BL-328 showing 2.0 g/t Au over 68.0m and another interval of 1.0 g/t Au over 52.0m.
President Rob Hinchcliffe emphasized the continuity of gold mineralization, noting the promising results from BL-328 and BL-311. Further infill and expansion drilling is ongoing to enhance confidence in the current resource and explore mineralization beyond existing models. Geological analysis shows gold-antimony mineralization associated with pyrite and other base-metal sulfides in quartz veins.
