Gedeon Richter Expands Biosimilars at EULAR 2026
Gedeon Richter Plc.'s Biotechnology Business Unit is showcasing its growing role in biologic therapies at the European Congress of Rheumatology (EULAR) in London. Gedeon Richter highlights nearly two decades of investment in biotechnology, which has led to a fully integrated biosimilars business across Europe with 1,000 professionals and facilities in Hungary and Germany.
At EULAR, Richter hosted a symposium on inflammatory joint disease and osteoporosis. The session emphasized the importance of early disease management and the potential of biologic therapies. Dr. Erik Bogsch, Head of the Biotechnology Business Unit, reiterated the company's commitment to accessible biologic therapies through scientific collaboration.
Richter's biosimilar portfolio is expanding and includes denosumab biosimilars Junod® and Yaxwer®, and the newest tocilizumab biosimilar Tuyory®. The company aims to bolster treatments for chronic inflammatory conditions, supporting healthcare systems with more options.
