Global Towers Illuminate in Red for Spring Festival

Shanghai's iconic landmarks, the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower, led a global initiative by lighting up in red to celebrate the Spring Festival, marking its inaugural recognition as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. This celebration saw participation from towers across four continents, joining forces under the World Federation of Great Towers.

The festivities transformed skylines worldwide, including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the Empire State Building in New York, and Tokyo Tower. These landmarks showcased vibrant displays of Chinese New Year spirit, embracing cultural unity and diversity.

Notably, the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore launched a Spring Festival-themed light show, while Tokyo released 2,025 balloons. In America, both Chicago's Willis Tower and Vancouver's Lookout also joined the vibrant celebration.
