Gold Terra Confirms Gold Potential at Con Mine
Gold Terra Resource Corp has announced successful drilling results from the Con Mine Option Property in the Northwest Territories. Wedge hole GTCM25-056A revealed anomalous gold and silver at depths from 2680.5 to 2703.5 meters in the Campbell Shear zone. The findings indicate gold potential more than 600 meters below the historic Robertson Shaft, with values up to 0.5 g/t Au and 12.6 g/t Ag.
Higher-grade gold samples showed 7.81 g/t Au over 0.5 meters in the footwall of the Campbell Shear. Results reflect historical intersections outside high-grade zones. Given these outcomes, Gold Terra plans to shift focus to near-surface targets, avoiding further costly deep drilling.
The 2025 drilling program aims to explore high-grade gold potential below past production areas, with the Campbell Shear already contributing significantly in the past. Gold Terra has rights to fully acquire the property under conditions agreed with Newmont Corporation.
