Grande Portage to Present New Amalga Gold Project at Alaska Miners Association Convention
Grande Portage Resources Ltd. announced an update on their New Amalga Gold Project in Southeast Alaska, revealing an expansion potential and significant gold resources. The project currently holds an Indicated Resource of 1,438,500 ounces of gold, with an average grade of 9.47 g/t and an Inferred Resource of 515,700 ounces of gold with an average grade of 8.85 g/t. The company plans to execute a small-footprint underground mining operation with offsite processing.
On November 5th, Grande Portage will present an overview of the project at the Alaska Miners Association annual convention in Anchorage. The presentation will cover exploration efforts, and project development strategies, as part of their Preliminary Economic Assessment due in February 2026. RESPEC Inc. has been engaged to conduct roadway and traffic studies for the project.
Furthermore, Grande Portage has granted incentive stock options to directors, officers, and consultants to purchase up to 2,200,000 shares, conditional on TSX Venture Exchange approval.
