Gratomic Faces Cease Trade Order Over Financial Disclosure Delays
Gratomic Inc., based in Toronto, has announced a potential cease trade order from the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). This comes after the company failed to meet the filing deadline for its Annual Audited Consolidated Financial Statements and Management Discussion & Analysis for the year ended December 31, 2024. The OSC will issue a failure-to-file cease trade order (FFCTO) after April 30, 2025. The company must remedy this default within 90 days to revoke the FFCTO without a fee.
Gratomic has committed to completing the audit as soon as possible. Despite these financial challenges, the company remains focused on its projects in Namibia, Brazil, and Canada. It aims to enhance its position in the electric vehicle battery supply chain. The firm continues its development at the Aukam Graphite Mine, with tests confirming the suitability of its graphite as an anode material.
