Grid Metals Unveils Lucy South as World's Second Largest Active Cesium Resource

Grid Metals Corp. has announced a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for its Lucy South pegmatite at the Falcon West Property in Manitoba. The deposit, enriched in pollucite, is now recognized as the second largest cesium resource under active development globally. The measured resources total 51,500 tonnes at 2.58% Cs2O, with a high-grade Pollucite Zone offering 15,600 tonnes at 5.19% Cs2O.

Located near Winnipeg, the deposit is accessible via main transport routes and lies close to power infrastructure, enhancing its development prospects. Grid Metals aims to advance the project towards production, emphasizing the critical importance of cesium as designated by U.S. and Canadian authorities.

The joint venture with Avenir Minerals, which holds a 15% interest, is progressing with exploration and stakeholder engagement. Next steps include metallurgical testing and environmental studies, supporting future commercial operations in a market seeking secure cesium supplies.
