Groupe Beneteau Adjusts US Operations Amid Geopolitical Challenges
Groupe Beneteau has announced a strategic adjustment of its US operations, primarily focusing on its Cadillac, Michigan facility. In response to market impacts stemming from ongoing geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East, the company plans to halt production and pursue the divestiture of the Cadillac site along with the Four Winns, Glastron, and Scarab Jet brands during the third quarter of 2026. These brands, representing less than 5% of Beneteau's 2025 revenue, face challenges due to a declining market for bowriders and jet boats.
The decision aligns with Beneteau's strategy to focus resources on its seven core brands, including Beneteau and Jeanneau, across its key markets in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Despite the restructuring, Beneteau remains committed to its ambitious growth and innovation plans, set to release 24 new models in 2026, following 23 successful launches in 2025.
