Exail strengthens its technological assets with the acquisition of Leukos

Exail, a key player in photonics in the Advanced Technologies sector, announces the acquisition of Leukos. This French company, specializing in supercontinuum lasers, employs around twenty people and generates an annual turnover of 3 million euros. The acquisition, the first since the merger between ECA and iXblue, is part of a strategy of technological and commercial synergies. The merger with Leukos, an expert in micro-lasers and laser sources, complements Exail's skills in special fibers and integrated optical systems.

With this acquisition, Exail confirms its ambition to innovate in advanced technologies. It strengthens its capabilities to develop photonic and quantum components, while remaining a major player in the defense and civil sectors. Exail, among the top ten ETIs filing patents in France, plans to continue its investments in research and development to create high value-added products.
