Exail Technologies Repositions Itself in the Defense Sector
Exail Technologies, a subsidiary of Groupe Gorgé, is amending its ICB (Industry Classification Benchmark) classification to include the Defense subsector, effective March 24, 2025. This change reflects the company's strategic shift toward autonomous robotics and navigation systems. Previously classified under "Machinery: Industrial," this repositioning underscores the relevance of the group's new direction.
In 2024, Exail Technologies recorded €451 million in orders, 60% of which were in the defense sector. In February 2025, the company signed a significant contract for maritime anti-mine drone systems. Used by numerous stock markets, the ICB system allows for standardized comparison of international companies.
