Guanajuato Silver Connects San Ignacio and Bolanitos Mines

Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. has completed a 267-meter underground production ramp linking San Ignacio and Bolanitos mines. This development is likely to decrease operating costs and enhance both haulage efficiencies and ventilation. Notably, the ramp connects San Ignacio with the centrally located Lucero mine, part of the broader Bolanitos complex.

Construction began in May 2026 and finished ahead of schedule on September 30, 2026. This direct access is anticipated to improve haulage times to Bolanitos' processing facilities. Additionally, development includes a loading pocket for mineralized materials at San Ignacio, which enables the use of larger equipment, thereby simplifying operations.

The new ramp has revealed mineralized structures with high-grade gold findings, prompting the company to start a new drilling program. The project is part of a broader initiative to integrate San Ignacio fully into the Bolanitos Mines Complex.
