Jeroen Eijsink Appointed as New CEO of HHLA
On October 1, 2025, Jeroen Eijsink assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA). Eijsink expressed his anticipation in familiarizing himself with the company and its employees across Europe. His focus will be on sustainable development and enhancing the competitiveness of HHLA in the European logistics sector.
With over 25 years in logistics and transport, Eijsink's career spans significant roles, including CEO positions at DHL Freight and executive roles at C.H. Robinson. Prior to joining HHLA, he was CEO of the Girteka Group, where he led strategic changes. Eijsink studied Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Simultaneously, Marcus Vitt has been appointed as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, replacing Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Grube. Vitt brings extensive experience from his time at DONNER & REUSCHEL AG and the Hamburg Stock Exchange Council.
