HDF Energy strengthens its presence in Indonesia with two strategic agreements

HDF Energy signed two important agreements in Indonesia during President Emmanuel Macron's state visit. The tripartite Memorandum of Understanding with PLN and PT SMI aims to support 23 Renewstable® projects with an investment of €2.3 billion. These initiatives are part of the Indonesian government's national hydrogen roadmap.
HDF also signed an agreement with the government of East Nusa Tenggara, where eight of these projects are planned. These plants combine renewable energy and green hydrogen storage to provide stable electricity. In addition, HDF is collaborating on a maritime decarbonization project, using hydrogen to reduce emissions.
These measures support Indonesia's energy transition, strengthening cooperation between France and Indonesia.
