Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG Adjusts Earnings Forecast for 2026/2027
Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) has revised its earnings forecast for the financial year 2026/2027. The company now anticipates an adjusted EBITDA margin between 5.6% and 6.6%. This is a change from their initial expectation of an improvement compared to the prior year’s 6.6% adjusted EBITDA margin.
The revision is due to global economic conditions, ongoing cost pressures, and negative product mix effects, notably from the Middle East. Project delays in the Technologies segment also contributed to this adjustment. Despite the earnings forecast change, HEIDELBERG maintains its sales forecast, expecting stable Group sales compared to the previous year's €2,293 million.
Preliminary first-half figures revealed incoming orders of €1,141 million, an increase from the prior year's €1,111 million, while sales reached €913 million compared to €985 million previously. The net result after taxes showed a deficit of €9 million after six months but turned positive in the second quarter, reaching €24 million. Free cash flow was negative at €125 million. Complete results will be released on November 12, 2026.
