Heliad Backs Gaia to Revolutionize Fertility Care with $15M Investment
Heliad, through its investment arm Collective Ventures, has joined Gaia's $15 million funding round. Gaia aims to improve access to fertility care with a value-based model linking payments to successful outcomes. This approach reduces financial risk for individuals by ensuring they pay only for results, not treatments. Led by Valar Ventures, the round includes investors like Atomico and Seedcamp. Gaia's mission is to expand access to fertility treatments globally, addressing barriers like cost and complexity.
Since its launch in 2022, Gaia has achieved notable success, with a baby born every 2.6 days through its services. The company uses AI to optimize fertility outcomes with a 90% predictive accuracy. The model, supported by extensive data, continuously improves as more families benefit. With plans to expand operations in the US and enhance its AI capabilities, Gaia seeks to redefine fertility care. This investment will support Gaia's aim to scale its operations and introduce new services like surrogacy and adoption, further expanding its comprehensive fertility journey offerings.
