H2APEX and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners Finalize Strategic Agreement
H2APEX and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) have completed their strategic partnership agreement enabled by CIP's acquisition of a 70% stake in H2APEX's hydrogen project in Lubmin, funded by IPCEI. The initiative plans to produce up to 10,000 tons of hydrogen annually for the Flow pipeline, with construction scheduled for 2026. CIP invests EUR 15 million to initiate the project's first phase. The partnership prioritizes pre-financing the EUR 167 million EU IPCEI funding and aims for long-term capacity growth to exceed 1,000 MW. A preliminary agreement has secured the hydrogen off-take for this phase.
