One Heung Kong Unveils White Paper on Sustainable Living

GUANGZHOU, China, Oct. 18, 2025 — The 2025 Global Engineering Conference in Shanghai marked the unveiling of the "White Paper on Global Sustainable and Healthy Living Environments." This report, developed by One Heung Kong and other institutions, aims to establish guidelines for healthy living amidst rapid urbanization.

The report introduces the Urban Residential Forest Environment System, incorporating standards for both outdoor and indoor spaces. It offers a multidimensional approach to improve air quality and ecological interaction. Nobel Laureate Edvard Moser highlighted the importance of the environment for brain health, endorsing the report's Environment-Body-Brain approach.

The WELL Living Lab and World Green Design Organization backed the report, emphasizing green design's global relevance. Mei Hing Chak, president of Heung Kong Group, received the International Contribution Award for Green Design.
