HiPay Reports 2.1% Revenue Decline in H1 2026

HiPay announced a 2.1% drop in revenue for the first half of 2026, despite a 6.0% increase in payment volume. The fintech, known for its omnichannel payment solutions, recorded €4.9 billion in processed payments compared to €36.6 million in revenue. This decline is attributed to a mix effect in digital markets, although growth in retail, international, and iGaming activities was noted.

The second quarter showed improvement with revenue decline narrowing to -0.3%, hinting at a positive trend. HiPay’s historical activities continued to drive growth, with POS transactions up by 2.8%. The company also strengthened its European presence, supporting Bancomat Pay deployment in Italy and expanding in the Iberian Peninsula.

HiPay remains confident in achieving its 2026 targets, owing to new customer acquisitions and a strategic transformation plan aimed at supporting sustainable growth and profitability.
