Holcim Earns Top CDP “A” Rankings for Climate and Water Leadership

Holcim has been recognized with prestigious "A" scores by CDP for its leadership in climate and water security, securing a place on CDP’s A List for 2025. This accolade marks the fifth time Holcim has achieved an “A” for climate, underscoring its commitment to sustainability. The company is actively working towards its climate targets while reducing freshwater withdrawals to support a nature-positive future.

Carmen Diaz, Chief People and Sustainability Officer, highlighted the significance of this achievement as a validation of Holcim’s strategic focus on sustainability, aligned with their NextGen Growth 2030 strategy. Holcim's CO2 reduction targets for 2030 and 2050 are among the first globally validated by the Science Based Targets initiative, reflecting their rigorous approach to decarbonization.

Holcim continues to set industry benchmarks, notably establishing new targets for freshwater withdrawal reduction through the Science Based Targets Network methodology, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in environmental transparency.
