Hong Kong attracts talent to the United Kingdom
On October 17 and 18, 2026, Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE) organized the "Hong Kong Global Talent & Career Showcase" in London, supported by various economic offices. The event attracted over 4,500 attendees, with more than 200 job opportunities offered by 50 companies from Hong Kong and mainland China.
The sectors represented included finance, innovation, engineering, and professional services. Forums and workshops addressed topics such as Hong Kong's development and market strengths. Mr. Felix Chan, Director of HKTE, highlighted the opportunities for international talent to access promising careers.
Hong Kong, as an innovation hub, is a qualitative "super-connector" within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, expanding its international networks to attract highly skilled talent.
