HPW Metallwerk Enters Indian E-Mobility Market through KSH Partnership
HPW Metallwerk GmbH has announced a strategic partnership with KSH International Limited, granting exclusive license rights for the production of its PEEK-coated high-performance wires in India. This move aims to tap into India's burgeoning e-mobility sector. The agreement leverages KSH's established clientele of over 120 original equipment manufacturers, including major corporations like Siemens and Hitachi.
The Indian government predicts that electric passenger cars will make up 30% of the market by 2030, with electric trucks rising to 70%. Under the licensing deal, KSH will begin producing PEEK wires in 2026, focusing on the automotive sector. This partnership aligns with HPW's strategy to access new markets and bolster its international growth.
HPW's CSO, Harald Lackner, expressed enthusiasm for entering India, describing it as a dynamic market for e-mobility and energy sector electrification. KSH's CEO, Sandesh Bhagwat, highlighted the partnership's potential to enhance KSH’s offerings in the automotive industry.
