H&R GmbH & Co. KGaA Shows Strong Financial Growth in First Half of 2026

H&R GmbH & Co. KGaA has announced significantly improved financial figures for the first half of 2026. The company's sales revenues reached EUR 700.4 million, an increase from EUR 653.1 million in the previous year. EBITDA also showed substantial improvement, rising to EUR 84.4 million from EUR 40.1 million in the first half of 2025.

In the second quarter of 2026 alone, EBITDA surged to EUR 62.5 million, far exceeding the EUR 17.8 million of the previous year's quarter. This growth was fueled by increased feedstock prices related to geopolitical tensions in the Persian Gulf.

The ChemPharm Refining segment made the largest contribution, with its EBITDA climbing to EUR 62.1 million for the half-year. The ChemPharm Sales segment also showed improvement, with EBITDA rising to EUR 25.7 million.

Despite these gains, H&R faced challenges in its Plastic segment, which saw minimal improvement. Additionally, cash flow was adversely affected by rising feedstock costs.
