HR Training Gap: 37% Invest Minimal Time Annually
A Stepstone study highlights a significant gap in HR training engagement in Germany. Despite 80% of HR managers deeming further training important, only 25% regularly participate. Startlingly, 37% invested less than a day in 2024. Lack of time (49%), insufficient programs (20%), and limited employer support (13%) are primary barriers.
As recruiting evolves due to AI and automation, HR requires diverse skills. Dr. Tobias Zimmermann from Stepstone explains the growing complexity in recruiting beyond mere job ads. HR professionals seek reduced bureaucracy, more resources, and practical training. However, time constraints hinder keeping up with trends.
To address this, Stepstone introduces "Stepstone Insider," a free platform offering compact training and insights. It aims to foster a dialogue-driven HR community across digital platforms, addressing the urgent need for adaptable and continuous learning in recruiting.
