Huawei Digital Power's BESS Safety System Achieves Top Recognition

Huawei Digital Power has successfully undergone a technical appraisal by the China Electricity Council for its Full-Lifecycle Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Safety Quantitative Assessment System. This assessment places the system at a world-leading level, bridging critical safety gaps in BESS both in China and globally.

The evaluation was conducted by industry experts, including academics and professionals from renowned institutions. It highlighted the system’s innovative approach to classifying safety risks into three levels, aiming to minimize failure probabilities. The system's core technologies significantly improve safety, offering a model for identifying and mitigating risks.

The achievements of this project have already been applied in major projects across China, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia, showcasing its effectiveness and broad application potential. With substantial economic and social impacts, the system is expected to guide future safety technology developments in energy storage.
