Huawei and Shanghai Jiao Tong University launch smart education showcase
On September 29, 2025, Huawei, in collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), unveiled a global smart education showcase at HUAWEI CONNECT 2025. The Zhiyuan-1 platform, based on Ascend processors and Kunpeng servers, integrates artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to improve access to computing resources in Chinese universities.
By integrating into the Jiaowosuan system, it provides simplified access to resources for teachers and students. Huawei Vice President Li Peng emphasized the importance of AI in cultivating interdisciplinary talent, bridging the gap between theory and practice. This initiative, supported by advanced technologies and global partnerships, aims to propel digital transformation in education.
